…to Isle of Palm, SC

(Delayed posting.  This was November 29, 2018)

Did I mention it was cold?  32 degrees or less this morning. After the sun came up. Brrr.

Just a quick stop at Isle of Palm. Trying to get south where it’s warm.

A new feature:  A few of Today’s traveling companions: Seaquel, Palmetto Moon, Tropic Star, Magic and Seadragon.  I need to start a list of great boat names.

And nobody wants to be this boat in the first photo.  Running aground like that is easier than you think.  It just takes a few seconds in a turning channel and boom!  Plus, it didn’t help he was going right towards the pilings.  He may have noticed he was off course, but couldn’t turn without running into the pilings.  (note: He got towed out and we saw him the next day leaving Isle of Palm. He did have some transmission problems after this grounding.)

Another boat with Sabrina’s coloring. Clearly it’s much much larger!

This is what Sabrina looks like next to a 53′ Hatteras.

  1. We actually know that Borrowed Horse. We anchored at the same spot in FL (can’t remember name of Anchorage at this moment) and admired their boats ability to hold all the ‘toys’. It’s a beautiful boat too….almost as pretty at Sabrina ⚓️🤗
