…to her 2nd Krogen Rendezvous

As Kenny mentioned in his post, we took another step in our adventure and moved aboard Sabrina.  Well, mostly moved aboard.  I didn’t think we had a lot of stuff until we started moving it out of the house in DC. Do yourselves a favor and start getting rid of stuff NOW.

We’re at the 3rd Krogen Rendezvous for Kenny and I and the 2nd one for Sabrina.  We didn’t bring her to the first Rendezvous we attended.  We’ll move the boats into Mediterranean style mooring tomorrow.  We’ll be side by side with our sterns to the docks.  That’s the only way to squeeze in the roughly 50 boats scheduled to attend. I’ll post another photo later in the week when we’re all docked.  It’s really pretty cool. Or check out our posts from last year at this time. Kenny’s 2017 Rendezvous Post or this one Kitty’s 2017 Rendezvous Post

This picture is of Sabrina and a few other Krogens at Sunset.  What? You don’t see her? She’s just peaking out between the 2nd and 3rd boat. At 36′ she’s the smallest boat scheduled to attend. She’s actually the smallest model of boat Kadey-Krogen ever made.  The largest Kadey-Krogen attending will be 58′.

We arrived at Solomon’s Island, MD on Friday and stayed at Zahnizer’s Yacht Club for two nights before moving over here to Calvert Marina today.  We wanted to already be here when we started moving the boats around in the morning.  We’ll be the first boat in the new arrangement and there will be no getting out of it until everyone leaves next Sunday.

Here are a few pics I took over the trip down and the last few days.  Enjoy!

Leaving the Magothy River behind us. And for you boaters, that’s our normal running speed wake. She’s a slow girl.
