…to the Kadey-Krogen rendezvous in Solomon’s Island, MD

We had a great few days at Calvert Marina for the annual rendezvous of Kadey-Krogen owners.  46 boats at the dock.  We attended last year, but without Sabrina.  This photo was taken by one of the attendees with a drone.  You can guess what I want for Christmas!

i wasn’t here for the raft up, but this morning’s departure was impressive.  You can imagine the teamwork needed to peel away these boats one at a time.

The rendezvous included informative presentations and discussions, friendship, food, music and dancing, and the occasional beverage.  The best part may have been the tours of each others’ boats.  So much to learn from how others have customized their vessels.
