…into mourning for her sister Manatee.

We are sick that Irma has done so much damage to the Florida Keys. Our friends, Mike and Dotty, live on their Manatee, Cool Beans in Marathon, Fl. Mike and Dotty were instrumental in helping us decide on a Manatee for ourselves.  They welcomed a complete stranger (and her niece, Alison) on board for a tour of Cool Beans.  Shared a great deal of knowledge about boats, boating and Krogens with us.  And when I made Kenny actually get on a Manatee before we bought one, they welcomed us aboard at their new home port of Harbor Cay Club in Marathon, Fl.

She was tied up to a mooring ball in Boot Key Harbor. About 75% of the boats there broke away and went on a wild ride. Cool Beans was found up a canal and on her side.

Cool Beans, along with Mike and Dotty, will always have a soft place in my heart.
